The Yoruba Community Council in Northern Nigeria,  has declared that their son, Vice President Yemi Osibanjo is not interested in President Muhammadu Buhari’s seat.
Speaking to journalists after the community organised a joint prayersession for President Buhari who returned from United Kingdom last week, where he had gone  for medical vacation, the President General of Yoruba Community in the entire North, Alhaji Abdulganiyu I. Oguntoyimbo said the people of the Southwest had no reason to drag the position with Buhari.
He said the Yoruba community in the 19 Northern States and Federal Capital City, Abuja decided to organise joint prayer session  for President Buhari. “There is no Yoruba man that is praying for Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo to succeed Buhari. The relationship between the two of them is very cordial.
“As a matter of fact, Yoruba’s relationship with Buhari administration  is cordial. We support him totally and if we support anybody we don’t  go back. We are with Buhari yesterday, today, tomorrow and always. We  believe that what he is doing is not just for today but for tomorrow.”
