Buba Galadima Loses First Son

The former, national secretary of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) party, Engr. Buba Galadima has lost a son Aliyu Buba Galadima, to a ghastly car accident along Kaduna-Abuja expressway.

The National Sec. Gen. Federal Government College, Kwali, Abuja, Old Students Association (FEDGOKOSA) Ahmed Tijjani Sani broke the unfortunate news on the association Facebook page at about 9:00 am yesterday.

Aliyu was the eldest son of Engr. Galadima. However, his funeral rites took place at Annur Mosque, Wuse II, Abuja at 4pm, yesterday after which he was buried according to Islamic rites.

Aliyu was described as a promising young man, who was full of life and just got married in April 2016.

‘’In tears and pains we announce the final demise of our brother Aliyu Buba Galadima 2003 set. Who double as our former national executive and national assistance treasurer of 2014-2016, FEDGOKOSA who died in a car accident Abuja-Kaduna road.

‘’May his soul rest in peace, may Allah forgive him and grant him paradise amen. Burial will take place at Anur Mosque 4pm Abj today.

Thanks,’’ Sani wrote on the Old Students Association Facebook page.

Musa Azare, a friend of deceased also wrote that: ‘’Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un!

‘’The death has occurred of Galadima. He died in a ghastly motor accident along Kaduna-Abuja Expressway today, Sunday, March 26, 2017.

‘’Aliyu was a friend, and eldest son of Engineer Buba Galadima, former national secretary of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change, CPC. A promising young man, graduate of Economics, full of intellect, Aliyu got married just April 2016. This is indeed one death too many.

‘’May Allah (Subhanahu Wata’ala) forgive all his shortcomings and grant him aljannatul firdaus. May Allah give his father, siblings and friends the fortitude to bear this great loss. Ameen.’’

The Facebook post by Azare attracted over 700 comments, many of them praying for the repose of his soul.

He holds a Master’s degree in international affairs and diplomacy from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, 2014. He also attended University of Maiduguri for his first degree.
